'Super Noggin' program proves popular

The Mississippi County Senior Citizen Center held its first "Super Noggin" session Wednesday with a surprisingly high number of participants. The brain fitness program is designed to help people stay mentally fit as well as fight or prevent Alzheimer's and dementia. Quorum Court to help with locating new home for Election Commission

The energy and property committee of the Mississippi County Quorum Court agreed Wednesday to help members of the Mississippi County Election Commission in their search for a new early voting location to replace the Moore Center. Two drug arrests in Osceola

Two more drug related arrests were made Wednesday by area law enforcement Agents of the Second Judicial Drug Task Force and officers of the Osceola Police Department arrested Steven Cuble, 35, and Shantell Rogers, 33, both of Osceola. The two were stopped and found to be in possession of more than 12 grams of crack cocaine and $1,949 in cash.
