Local man hurt in industrial accident

One man was flown to Regional Medical Center in Memphis Thursday afternoon after getting hurt on the job at a local factory. Upgrades eyed for landfill

Members of the sanitation and landfill committee of the Mississippi County Quorum Court decided Thursday to purchase a backhoe and bulldozer for use at the landfill. The committee agreed to purchase a 2006 Caterpillar bulldozer for $84,000 and a 2009 Case backhoe for $56,618.
