Beckmann Volmer Groundbreaking

Ground was officially broken Tuesday morning on the site of a new industry, which will be the 27th new industry or existing industry expansion in the past eight years in Mississippi County. Beckmann Volmer, a German-based international company is creating an Osceola facility which will manufacture mainframes for wind turbines, and is beginning construction on its new plant. The facility will create 300 new jobs in the county, with the possiblity for the expansion to 1,000 jobs in the future.
